Government Sales Representative for Public Sector Opportunities

"We are seeking a skilled Government Sales Representative to join our team at Cochrane Global. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the local government, provincial, and national sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of government structures and sales processes.
"Key Responsibilities:
"• Generate leads and meet/exceed sales goals
"• Negotiate contracts with prospective clients
"• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
"• Give sales presentations to prospective clients
"• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
"• Understand and promote company programs
"• Prepare and submit sales contracts or tenders or orders
"• Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
"• Maintain client records
"Requirements:
"• Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Business Administration or higher
"• 2-4 years of government sales experience
"• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
"• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
"• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with government customers and suppliers
"• Experience using computers for various tasks, including presentation and reports/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
"• Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
"Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and a fast-paced work environment.
