Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with provincial objectives.
  2. Manage and oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and financial standards.
  4. Provide expert advice on financial matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases.

Requirements:

  • A 3-year B-Degree (or higher qualification) in Finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in financial management, preferably in a government or public sector environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Public Financial Management National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury directives/instructions.
