Debt Management Assistant Officer

About the Role:

Affinity Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to assist in the management of accounts receivable and collections. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles and be able to analyze debtor profiles to identify trends and propose strategies for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of accounts receivable and collections.
  • Monitor outstanding debts and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and payment arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports on debt status and recovery efforts.
  • Analyze debtor profiles to identify trends and propose strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12/Matric certificate; a qualification in finance, accounting, or business is preferred.
  • Previous experience in debt management or financial services is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial software.
