Job Description:

West Coast Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to lead the financial operations of our U.S.-based company specializing in SMS marketing solutions. This is a great opportunity to leverage your expertise in finance and strategy to drive growth across our global divisions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial management, budgeting, reporting, analysis, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will be the custodian of financial information, creating processes and systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing financial guidance to the Managing Director and other stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and managing day-to-day finance operations, including invoicing, payroll payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
  • Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Driving cost management initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma /Degree in finance related fields
  • CA(SA) but not mandatory
  • 3 - 5 years leading a finance function
  • Experience in a SaaS, Tech, eCommerce solutions space would be greatly advantageous.
  • The ability to balance tactical tasks and strategic thinking required to grow a function into the future.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
