Leading manufacturer has a position available for an experienced Accounts Payable professional.

Job Overview:

  • To manage and reconcile foreign control accounts to sub-ledgers for ZAR, EUR, and USD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling control accounts to sub-ledgers for ZAR, EUR, and USD.
  • Ensuring supplier invoices are allocated to the correct general ledger account.
  • Verify that only valid tax invoices are accepted for processing.
  • Investigating and clearing of GRN Control account and goods in transit account.
  • Complete the credit application as requested by the supplier in line with the requirements of the purchasing department.
  • Process all the trade creditors' payments.
  • Payment allocation to correct supplier invoices.
  • Maintain accurate filing system.
  • Print month-end reports for payment run.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics, English and Accounting.
  • National Diploma / Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Forward, SAP, Syspro).
  • Foreign creditors experience - ZAR, EUR, and USD.
