Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions, including payroll administration, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding and offboarding.
  • Drafting and managing administrative documents such as appointment and promotion letters.
  • Championing employee wellness initiatives and supporting wellness programs.
  • Conducting induction programs and policy workshops for new hires.
  • Educating and administering employee benefits, including benefit structures.
  • Overseeing performance management processes, including training and development.
  • Assisting in the development and documentation of HR policies.
  • Compiling and submitting Employment Equity Plans and reports.
  • Administering the leave module and maintaining the People ESS system.
  • Providing HR reporting, including the collation of monthly and quarterly statistics.
  • Consulting with employees on HR and IR-related queries and concerns.
  • Leading HR projects and research as required, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Developing and delivering regular training on HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives in line with BEE and GM requirements.
  • Managing payroll processes, including capturing, updating, and reconciling payroll data.
  • Ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations, deductions, and employee payments.
  • Handling payroll queries from employees and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with finance for payroll-related matters and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

This role offers a competitive salary of R550,000 - R650,000 per annum, depending on experience.
