Milkor Integrated Systems is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist Specialist to join our team. As an HR Generalist Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the overall human resources function within the organization.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical sense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Selection: Identify recruitment needs, draft job descriptions, source candidates, screen and conduct interviews, onboard new employees, and perform reference checks.
  • Onboarding Activities: Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation and presentations.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, offering guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Documentation Management: Manage HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and personnel files, in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
  • Employee Welfare: Promote employee well-being and contribute to fostering a positive work culture.
  • Performance Management: Assist in performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews and providing guidance on performance improvement plans.
Requirements:
  • A Human Resources/Industrial Psychology degree or diploma.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an HR role, including the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • A valid driver's license and own transport.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including MS Office, Excel, and Word.
  • A high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical aid, retirement fund contributions, and annual leave.
