We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Coatings and Construction business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Product Managers and Account Managers, as well as overseeing a portfolio of customers and developing strategies for growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Product Managers and Account Managers to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
- Develop and implement strategies for portfolio growth and customer development
- Ensure effective working capital management, including debtors days, stock holding targets, and sales team performance
- Lead the sales team in promoting new products and exploring new markets
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the use of CRM systems and provide technical briefs and support for new product development
- Engage in price negotiations at senior levels and develop business outlooks for 3-5 years
- Minimum 6 years of technical and commercial experience in the Coatings and Construction industries
- Sound understanding of pricing structures and minimum 5 years of management experience leading a team
- BSc in Life Science discipline is beneficial
