Compliance Coordinator

Our client, a leading company in the Wellington region, is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist growers in preparing compliance/accreditation audit files for various certifications, including GlobalGAP, GRASP, Tesco, LEAF, SPRING, SIZA, M&S (Field to Fork), BRC & IFS.
  • Communicate with customers on due diligence matters and implement their requirements with our growers.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor audit dates of suppliers and ensure timely notifications.
  • Assist new suppliers with initial information on accreditations.
  • Update and maintain supplier lists and certification database.
  • Monitor sampling, MRL results, and spray records.
  • Ensure all permits and certificates are up-to-date and accurately completed.
  • Provide market analysis and monthly reporting.
  • Maintain high administrative efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification, preferably in Agriculture or BTech.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans compulsory).
  • Background knowledge of product flow (from seed to fork) is an advantage.
  • Experience in preparing audit files and successfully passing audits is crucial.
  • Knowledge of export legislative requirements necessary.
  • Self-discipline to manage own time and prioritize work.
  • Ability to multitask, while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Patience when dealing with growers and customers.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities while maintaining own independence and motivation.
Remuneration:

Market-related, depending on experience and qualifications.
