Procurement Officer Job Description

Info Personnel is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of electronic products, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate Material Requirements Planner to place purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and prevent missed or incorrect orders.
  • Maintain supplier account details, including credit limits and contact information.
  • Place purchase orders for all items from shop orders and sales orders received from production.
  • Check stock levels with Stores Administrator to ensure accuracy and place orders as necessary.
  • Create new inventory codes for GL purchased items.
  • Source suppliers for obsolete items in collaboration with EPS and Production.
  • Arrange and plan drivers' schedules for collections from suppliers or special deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement of electronic products.
  • Knowledge of SYSPRO Accounting and manufacturing software is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
