Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at The Bay Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bakery operations, ensuring the creation of high-quality baked goods that meet our luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the bakery team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
  • Develop and execute innovative and visually stunning baked products
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the bakery
  • Ensure all baking processes adhere to recipes and quality specifications
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the overall guest experience

Requirements

  • 5 years of proven experience in a bakery or similar food production environment
  • Pastry qualification (advantageous)
  • Excellent baking and pastry making skills, including the ability to develop and innovate recipes
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising and training staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP
  • Must have own transport and valid driver's license
