This is a hands-on role providing configuration to Dynamics 365 CE as well as assisting in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 solutions.
Strong communication skills are required to convey complex ideas to non-technical audience.
The holder will work at a Strategic level as well as have hands on tactical and operational skills to define work and troubleshoot/resolve issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the D365 Solution Architect to deliver D365 CE initiatives – especially relating to Sales, Customer Services & Omnichannel. This includes working with the Power Platform.
- Work closely with Business Teams to understand opportunities/requirements, develop user stories in DevOps (or ITSM) and define product backlog.
- Demonstrate the possibilities of D365 CE modules and their wider capabilities/integration to meet Control Risks needs and strategic ambitions.
- M Maximise the use of D365 CE partnerships and take a configuration first approach within the system vs overly customised. Strive for a vanilla solution wherever possible.
- Support teams with regression testing of solution, UAT, and training. Debugging bugs.
- Develop functional designs, test plans and scripts where applicable.
- Drive innovation by building, customising and configuring the system as well as utilising the Power Platform into POC solutions.
- Go-live and post-live support.
- Resolve tickets and issues raised by Business Teams in accordance with internal service levels, processes, and procedures.
- Prepare and represent D365 CE & Power Platform changes at CAB.
- Advise customers on best practices for D365 CE & Power Platform processes, user interface and architecture.
- Propose comprehensive solutions for complex D365 CE scenarios.
- Utilise expertise as a SME on ad hoc projects to complete project tasks on time and within budget.
- Develop solutions that improve the efficiency and capability of CE system users.
- Implement product best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configurations.
- Become the subject matter expert in cross-functional projects representing tech and business team requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to SMEs in areas specific to their BAU activities.
- Collaborate with the D365 technical delivery manager on areas requiring further engagement with the business and partners.
