Job Description
We invite applications for this permanent Senior Lecturer position in the Department of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in financial risk management & modelling, corporate finance, asset markets and pricing, and financial technology.
Main Responsibilities
Facilitate learning and teaching in financial risk management & modelling, corporate finance, asset markets and pricing, and financial technology.Conduct research and publish in financial risk management & modelling, corporate finance, asset markets and pricing, and financial technology.Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.Provide academic leadership and administration.Undertake curriculum development and assessment.Participate in community engagement and outreach.Perform other related duties assigned by the chair of the department.Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in the field of finance or economics.
They must demonstrate experience in facilitating learning and teaching in at least two of the fields of financial risk management & modelling, corporate finance, asset markets and pricing, or financial technology.
A record of quality peer-reviewed publications and successful supervision of Honours and Masters level students is also required.
