IT Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Armstrong Appointments. As a key member of our technical staff, you will provide hardware repair and IT support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure various software applications on Mac and Windows operating systems.
Provide basic PC/Mac/Printer support and log calls with vendors.
Man the helpdesk phone and assist with user administration.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, manage system updates, and handle AD accounts.
Proficient in MS Office/365 and troubleshooting common Windows issues.
Requirements
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Pro-active personality with a strong personal drive, able to build strong professional relationships.
Minimum of 5 years Technical IT working experience.
An individual who is comfortable working alone as well as part of a team.
Customer service focused and a team player.
Willingness to take ownership and function under stressful situations.
Task orientated, deadline driven, time management skills.
Keen learner, able to learn existing infrastructure quickly.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a daily basis accurately.
Ability to use best practice, follow procedural implementation tasks and defer to senior team members when required.
Passion for technology.
Willing to work after hours and on weekends when needed to sort out issues.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and other common IT applications.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Form of IT training course (6 months - 1 year) and understand the basics around PCs, Macs, laptops, printers.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
Microsoft Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
