Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in East London. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling generators and other equipment, establishing and maintaining relationships with current and future customers, and achieving agreed profitability targets.

Main Responsibilities
  • To sell generators and other equipment to achieve agreed profitability targets.
  • To establish and maintain relationships with current and future customers to ensure long-term sales growth.
  • To expedite and follow-up on the successful resolving of customer problems to maintain positive business relationships.
  • To reach out to customer leads through cold-calling and coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • To perform weekly customer visits and monthly customer outings to build strong relationships.
  • To travel and develop brand presence in neighbouring countries to increase market share.
  • To achieve short- and long-term sales targets by performing cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential clients.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • BCom Degree in Marketing Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' sales representative experience in the generator industry or commercial and industrial markets.
  • Own car and driver's license.
  • Fully computer literate in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends where required.
