Key Responsibilities:
  • Itinerary Planning: Create and design unique, out-of-the-box leisure FIT tailor-made itineraries that exceed guest expectations.
  • Reservation Management: Handle bookings from quote to finalization, including invoicing and travel document preparation.
  • Time Management: Ensure timely turn-around of tasks according to standard operating procedures.
  • Sales and Marketing: Proactively promote products and services to ensure the best possible itinerary for guests.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent, clear interaction with colleagues, agents, operators, guests, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of inbound tour operating experience and a deep understanding of the travel industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tourplan (or similar booking systems) and WETU.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of South, Southern, and East Africa.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in verbal and written Spanish, preferably South American Spanish, and excellent English language skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and general computer literacy.
