We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Kerridge Commercial Systems. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the product backlog and managing the delivery of new features or fixes for our product.
Key Responsibilities- Be the primary point of contact for the development team and lead demos, requirement gathering, and story mapping workshops with customers and stakeholders.
- Elicit customer and stakeholder requirements, translating them into features and product backlog items that meet the acceptance criteria.
- Manage, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure it is in a healthy state for release planning.
- Participate in Agile team ceremonies to coach the team on the minimal viable solution needed to solve users' problems.
- Set sprint goals for the development team and manage release delivery risk to stakeholders.
- Review release documentation and carry out user acceptance testing before publication.
- Experience working with diverse levels of technical ability to solicit requirements, focusing on problem and value statements.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and prioritizing product backlogs using product management tools.
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks for business management software development companies.
- Leadership experience in developing and coaching teams to build a collaborative, self-organized culture.
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of Kerridge Commercial Services markets, customers, and use cases.
- Effective communication of requirements from a functional and non-functional perspective.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Influencing and motivating stakeholders and team members to achieve objectives.
- Facilitating and leading team or stakeholder workshops.
- Acting decisively and communicating direction to the team.
