Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS). As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the product backlog and managing the delivery of new features or fixes for our business management solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Be the primary product contact for the development team, ensuring clear priorities and development goals that deliver maximum value to the business and our customers.
- Elicit customer and stakeholder requirements, translating them into features and product backlog items that meet the acceptance criteria.
- Manage, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure it is in a healthy state for release planning.
- Actively participate in Agile team ceremonies, coaching the team on the minimal viable solution needed to solve users' problems.
- Set sprint goals for the development team and manage release delivery risk to ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
- Review release documentation and carry out user acceptance testing before any release is completed.
- Experience in working with different levels of technical ability to solicit requirements, focusing on problem and value statements.
- Experience in creating, maintaining, and prioritizing product backlogs using product management tools.
- Experience in working within an Agile delivery framework for business management software development companies.
- Experience in leading, developing, and coaching a team to build a collaborative self-organized culture and team spirit.
- Working knowledge of overall software development life cycle processes and best practices.
- Working knowledge of the Kerridge Commercial Services markets, customers, and use cases for our core ERP products.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively from both a functional and non-functional perspective.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with the team and key stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders and team members to achieve objectives.
- Ability to facilitate and lead team or stakeholder workshops with objective purpose.
- Ability to act decisively and communicate direction to the team on priorities or risks.
- Ability to adapt to change and manage risk while reducing impact on velocity.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and plan work, seeking improvement where required.
- Proactive, positive, open, and collaborative approach to working with others in a team.
- Open to learning new skills and self-development to drive personal and team growth.
- Comfortable giving feedback at all levels with integrity and receiving it to build trust.
