The role of the Retail Security Operations Manager at Fidelity Services Group is to oversee the security operations of three retail outlets within the Mall of Africa Shopping Centre. This position reports directly to the Regional Contract Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all site-specific security requirements are met, while also providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain good relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and clients regarding security services rendered.
- Ensure timely posting of Security Officers on site.
- Train Security Officers on site to focus on shrinkage prevention.
- Evaluate service levels provided and make recommendations for improvement.
- General management and supervision of security staff.
- Investigate incidents and report accordingly.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- MATRIC certificate.
- PSIRA Grade A or B registration and accreditation.
- At least 5 years of retail experience, preferably in a Retail Store environment.
- Experience as a Site Manager with a security complement.
- Knowledge and experience in investigation techniques.
- Staff management experience.
- Computer literacy.
- No criminal record.
