Job Summary

This pivotal role reports directly to the Head of Organisational Effectiveness and Total Reward. The successful candidate will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of organisational effectiveness interventions across the entire Mukuru Group.

The Organisation Effectiveness Strategist will collaborate with Business leaders, Human Capital business partners, and management to ensure the successful implementation of key Talent management, Performance Management, Organisational Design, Change Management, Leadership development, Onboarding, and Strategic Workforce Planning frameworks and models.

The successful candidate will review and measure the ROI and effectiveness of interventions and develop and implement key analytics, metrics, and dashboards to demonstrate progress and impact.

About the Role
  • Develops and implements Talent and Succession management processes, practices, and initiatives that support business objectives
  • Monitors and measures the success of Talent and Succession management processes, making adjustments as necessary
  • Reviews Talent and Succession management initiatives and designs improvements
  • Reports on the success, risks, challenges, and improvements to Talent and Succession management processes, practices, and initiatives
  • Develops and implements Performance management processes, practices, and initiatives that support business objectives
  • Monitors and measures the success of Performance management processes, making adjustments as necessary
  • Reviews Performance management initiatives and designs improvements
  • Reports on the success, risks, challenges, and improvements to Performance management processes, practices, and initiatives
  • Ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Supports the development of appropriate OE practices training interventions by collaborating with relevant HC departments
  • Manages and implements projects and continuous improvement activities
  • Reviews and consults on organisational structures across businesses
  • Develops programmes that support desired behaviours in the organisation
  • Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships
  • Develops aligned and effective change management solutions, practices, and processes
  • Monitors and measures the success of change management processes, making adjustments as necessary
  • Reviews change management initiatives
  • Develops communication strategies to ensure awareness of changes within the business
  • Develops Leadership Development processes, practices, and initiatives that support business objectives
  • Monitors and measures the success of Leadership Development processes, making adjustments as necessary
  • Reviews Leadership Development initiatives and designs improvements
  • Reports on the success, risks, challenges, and improvements to Leadership Development processes, practices, and initiatives
  • Develops On and Offboarding processes, practices, and initiatives that support business objectives
  • Monitors and measures the success of On and Offboarding processes, making adjustments as necessary
  • Reviews On and Offboarding initiatives and designs improvements
  • Reports on the success, risks, challenges, and improvements to On and Offboarding processes, practices, and initiatives
  • Develops SWP processes, practices, and initiatives that support business objectives
  • Monitors and measures the success of SWP processes, making adjustments as necessary
  • Reviews SWP initiatives and designs improvements
  • Reports on the success, risks, challenges, and improvements to SWP processes, practices, and initiatives

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
  • Minimum 3-year HR degree or related field (Essential)
  • Honours in Industrial Psychology or HCM (Desirable)
  • Change management certification (Beneficial)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Organisation Development/Design in corporate or consulting environments (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Performance management frameworks
  • Knowledge of Organisational Design methodologies
  • Knowledge of Talent Management Frameworks
  • Knowledge of Change Management Models
  • Knowledge of Leadership Development frameworks
  • Knowledge of SWP models

Salary Estimate: R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
