Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking an Engineering Services Manager to join our Provincial Administration team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing technical services and support in engineering research, design, manufacturing, operations, and maintenance related to the Provincial road network.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage technical services and support in conjunction with Engineers, Technologists, and associates in field, workshop, and technical office activities.
  2. Manage administrative and related functions.
  3. Provide inputs into the budgeting process.
  4. Research and development.
  5. Continuous professional development to keep up with new technologies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. An appropriate recognised National Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  2. A minimum of 6 years post qualification technical (Engineering) experience.
  3. Compulsory registration as an Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
  4. A valid code B (or higher) driving license.
