This position plays a key part in developing and implementing procedures to meet compliance requirements, advising internal business units, and leading complaints received from clients, regulators, and ombuds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and legislation affecting the business of TLT Appointing.
  • Advise internal business units on how to meet compliance requirements, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Lead complaints received from clients, regulators, and ombuds, pursuing corrective actions and notifying authorities as necessary.
  • Ensure business units stay informed on changes to related regulations, providing updates and support as required.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant 3-year qualification in Compliance or Legal.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a legal, insurance, or financial services sector, with strong knowledge of regulatory compliance guidelines and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • LLB plus a relevant Compliance Management Certificate and/or Certification.
  • RE 1 and RE5 certification.
