We are seeking an experienced sales engineer to join our team in selling industrial instrumentation solutions to clients in a geographically defined area. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of industrial automation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit relevant product knowledge to identify and provide technical solutions
- Ensure yearly budgets are met
- Sell industrial instrumentation solutions into a geographically defined area
- Prepare, in conjunction with management, the annual budget
- Interface at a high level to principles
- Prepare and present product presentations to clients
- Submit weekly call reports
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Build solid relationships with staff, clients, and principles
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical qualification or plant experience
- Proven sales track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales within industrial instrumentation
- Knowledgeable in industrial automation with experience in selling solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
