Corporate Governance Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and advise on legal agreements, ensuring compliance with company law and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on legal and regulatory matters, promoting high standards of corporate governance.
- Manage customer and procurement contracts, maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Draft and implement policies, ensuring they are up to date and align with company law.
- Ensure all policies are issued to relevant parties and implemented with minimal disruption.
- Identify risks and raise concerns with senior stakeholders, ensuring proactive management of potential issues.
- Oversee legal company entity management, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain high standards of corporate governance, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Advise employees, agents, and suppliers of any changes to company policies, ensuring seamless implementation.
- Scan, file, and maintain all legal documents, ensuring easy access and compliance.
- Provide general administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the company.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Proficient computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose solutions.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience working as part of a team, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.

- Completed degree or diploma in legal or commercial law, or a company secretarial diploma.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in commercial law.
