The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating cargo operations, ensuring efficient shipment handling, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should possess strong logistics coordination skills, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination:
    1. Coordinating cargo reservations, bookings, and delivering exceptional customer service.
    2. Reviewing post-flight documentation and preparing accurate reports.
    3. Preparing flight documentation for crew and customs officials.
    4. Notifying vendors of flight schedules and delays, and managing freighter catering uplift and last-minute changes.
  • Cargo Service Management:
    1. Managing cargo service activities among sales, operations, and ground handling for efficient shipment handling.
    2. Monitoring Ground Handling Agent performance, providing guidance, and reporting any issues.
    3. Handling weather diversions and assisting with flight diversions as needed.
    4. Participating in emergency response, station training, and compliance with safety, security, and quality standards.
    5. Conducting quality checks and participating in audits.
    6. Supporting crew administration, performing administrative tasks, and completing other duties as required.
    7. Collaborating with the Cargo Manager to implement e-initiatives and enhance e-Bookings and agent self-service functions.
    8. Performing Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as necessary.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    1. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo flow.
    2. Building strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional service experiences and foster loyalty.
    3. Responding to customer inquiries, offline and e-booking requests promptly and professionally.
    4. Facilitating stakeholder communication across sales channels to drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

Education: A degree in any field. Advanced education or equivalent in a relevant field is highly desirable.

Skills, Knowledge, Training, and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the cargo industry is preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience with demonstrated customer service orientation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CHAMP CargoSpot systems is a plus.
