Job Title: IAM Technical Specialist for Enterprise Identity Management

First Quantum Minerals LTD is seeking a skilled IAM Technical Specialist to join our Group IT Security function. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of Identity and Access Management solutions across our organisation's digital footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an experienced IAM Engineer who can design and execute technical integrations for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor authentication, and Identity lifecycle management to enhance security and streamline user authentication processes.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Azure AD/Entra, Active Directory, and Identity Governance platforms.
  • Responsibilities also include performing technical configuration and maintenance of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools, conducting technical assessments of identity and access systems, and recommending improvements.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and improve identity and access management solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Graduate qualification in Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering is highly regarded.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Identity Professional, ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in IAM implementation within an Enterprise environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency with Azure AD/Entra Identity, Active Directory, Saviynt EIC, CyberArk, scripting skills (PowerShell), API integrations for identity management, and knowledge of identity protocols and security frameworks.

Salary: R 650,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
