This role primarily focuses on:

  • Maintenance, support, and deployment of all hosting solutions, including associated support services.
  • Management and maintenance of Active Directory.
  • Collaboration with the team to ensure the stability and performance of corporate systems, including email, collaboration tools, SQL servers, application servers, hosted file repositories, and cloud-based hosting environments.
  • Implementing a monitoring system to detect faults or resource outages for all systems, backups, and retention policies.
  • Ensuring business continuity from inception to completion.
  • Fostering excellent IT service delivery to the business and affiliates by effectively managing datacentre infrastructure services according to 3rd party service level agreements.
  • Accountability for the end-to-end stability and performance of the data centre infrastructure, including integrated or related services such as networks, IT security, and applications.

The successful candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years working experience in an IT environment with relevant IT infrastructure management expertise.
  • Exceptional knowledge of cloud datacentres, physical datacentres, hosting platforms, IoT, ITIL principles, and crisis management skills.
  • Critical thinking, service delivery experience, customer service orientation, presentation skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
