Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Analyze and interpret data to track service levels, payment cycles, credit notes, and write-offs, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue and expand client base.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points, using this insight to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Participate in tender processes and provide ad-hoc reporting to management on performance metrics, helping to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Develop and lead contract negotiations, ensuring fair terms and conditions that benefit both parties and minimize risk.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (Post-graduate qualification advantageous).
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in freight forwarding and logistics, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
