Job Title: HR Officer

The HR Officer will play a vital role in supporting the HR Department and contributing to a positive working environment for all employees. This role requires a high level of administrative skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare and amend contracts as necessary.
  • Administer the onboarding process for new employees, including internal communications, new joiner packs, and facility tours.
  • Support the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting applicants, and conducting interviews.
  • Provide HR-related support and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Assist with payroll administration and external training.
  • Manage Occupational Health and Safety initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit EE online reports and maintain related records.
  • Support general HR and payroll queries.
  • Manage employee exit processes and performance management administration.
  • Oversee and supervise the office team on day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
  • Matric qualification.
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer with 2+ years of experience.
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
