  • Scan items and verify prices to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle customer payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change, and tickets as needed.
  • Upsell and introduce new products to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide guidance and information to resolve issues.
  • Greet customers and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and tidy, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Bag, box, or giftwrap packages as required.
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges efficiently.
  • Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12 (NSC) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail, preferably with an electrical background.
  • Computer literacy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Please note that a valid Code B driver's license and own transport would be advantageous, as would a Senior certificate (NQF4) or equivalent, and a Certificate/Diploma/Degree. A valid work permit for South Africa is also required.
