Wine Service Position

MSC Cruises is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Wine Service professional to join our team. As a Wine Connoisseur, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to our discerning guests. Your expertise will include wine pairing recommendations, wine inventory management, and training colleagues on wine knowledge.

  1. Deliver outstanding wine service to guests, consistently meeting their expectations.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of fine wines, including wine pairing recommendations.
  3. Manage wine inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and prompt ordering.
  4. Provide wine training to colleagues, enhancing their knowledge and confidence in serving wine.
  5. Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure seamless wine service across all dining venues.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills, with additional European languages an advantage.
  • High School certificate and Sommelier certification (WSET Level 3 or similar).
  • At least one year of experience as a Sommelier in a 4/5-star restaurant, hotel, or resort.
  • Excellent knowledge of fine wines and premium beverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
