Job Title: Public Education and Outreach Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Education and Outreach Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing public education and outreach programs to promote the work of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public education and outreach programs to promote the work of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address public education and outreach needs.
  • Design and deliver educational materials and resources to support public education and outreach programs.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform public education and outreach strategies and programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, organizations, and government agencies.

Requirements:

  • Three-year tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as education, communications, or public administration.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in public education and outreach, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work outside of regular business hours.
