The Shoprite Group of Companies is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead our compensation and benefits initiatives. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies that support our organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and communicate cross-functional issues with actionable recommendations, maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the organization.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels and address vacancy and attendance issues promptly, documenting and communicating role requirements to foster multi-skilling.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, addressing conflicts and motivating the team through regular performance reviews and feedback discussions based on objective data.

We require a degree in BCom, Accounting or equivalent, as well as +5 years' experience in a large payroll environment, preferably in the retail sector. Payroll certification is advantageous. Proficiency in MS office 365, particularly Excel, is essential.
