Your Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance on various aspects of our business;
  • Analyzing property titles and documentation to assess the feasibility of installing telecommunication towers;
  • Preparing risk assessments regarding property title, mortgage bonds, servitudes, and contract validity;
  • Certifying property titles;
  • Researching and analyzing applicable laws, statutes, and legal precedents to form legal opinions and documentation;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal contracts and agreements;
  • Attending to general asset/real estate management matters;
  • Registering properties and contracts at the Deeds Registry of South Africa;
  • Preparing and coordinating corporate and regulatory filings;
  • Maintaining corporate records;
  • Preparing legal letters, memorandums, and reports;
  • Coordinating projects to improve internal in-country legal processes;
  • Resolving issues related to ground leases and permits;
  • General litigation control, including updating litigation trackers and managing deadlines;
  • Assisting in implementing policies relating to diligence and regulatory compliance;
  • Supporting the Asset Optimization department in market activities (purchases, extensions, amendments, and abatements).
