Requirements:
  1. Matric qualification is essential for this position.
  2. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dog Handler is required.
  3. A valid Dog Handler Qualification is necessary.
  4. A strong understanding of safety protocols and K-9 procedures is crucial.
  5. The ability to work professionally and as part of a team is vital.
  6. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of animal welfare is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the care, grooming, and well-being of the assigned dogs, including daily feeding, bathing, and medical checks.
  2. Conduct regular patrols within designated zones to safeguard property and personnel.
  3. Inspect issued equipment and maintain its cleanliness and functionality.
  4. Maintain and clean kennels daily, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
  5. Collaborate with the Kennel Master to report on the dog's health, performance, and any incidents.
  6. Adhere to safety, security, and environmental protocols in all operations.
  7. Prevent and report any signs of animal cruelty immediately.
  8. Document and report all incidents, including bites, for review by management.
  9. Safely transport dogs using appropriate equipment.
