Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Model Governance Specialist to join our team at PreBless Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing the governance process of the independent review and validation of Bank pricing, IRB credit, and IFRS 9 impairment models.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Manage Model Governance Framework: Develop and implement an effective model governance framework that ensures compliance with relevant international and domestic regulations and legislation.
  • Validate Model Development and Implementation: Review the pricing, IRB credit, and IFRS 9 impairment model development methodology to adhere to international and regulatory standards.
  • Perform Quantitative Tests and Qualitative Assessments: Conduct quantitative tests and qualitative assessments of the pricing, IRB credit, and IFRS 9 impairment models to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification: A relevant 4-year tertiary qualification (B Com Hon or similar).
  • 7 Years Experience: 7 years of experience in credit model development and validation of risk and/or financial models.
  • Critical Competencies: Advanced Microsoft Office, programming essentials, SAS programming language, business acumen, financial accounting principles, and market risk principles.
