As a Product Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development and growth of our credit portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing new credit value propositions and enablement processes for portfolio revenue growth.
  2. Controlling expenditure and identifying process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
  3. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets.
  4. Developing, encouraging, and nurturing collaborative relationships across areas of specialization.
  5. Compiling reports that track progress and guide the business to make informed decisions.
  6. Ensuring development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes.
  7. Managing risks in own area of responsibility.
  8. Identifying opportunities to expand the customer base with potentially profitable customers.
  9. Providing input into the development of the tactical strategy and developing and implementing a supporting operational strategy.
  10. Managing team performance in achievement of business objectives.
  11. Building working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation.
  12. Creating solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.
  13. Ensuring full understanding of customer needs to deliver quality service.
  14. Ensuring customer service solutions are aligned to the business operational plan, organizational values, and service standards.
  15. Communicating how customer service solutions will be implemented and securing buy-in.
  16. Managing and leading strategic projects.
  17. Ensuring product knowledge and advice is technically accurate and providing customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options.
  18. Ensuring resolution of customer queries and complaints timeously and ownership of issues.
  19. Analyzing customer feedback to help improve customer service.
  20. Proposing ideas to improve customer service.
  21. Aligning business processes to strategy and clients.
  22. Conducting competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovative new value propositions.
  23. Developing new credit initiatives and value propositions that align with the various segment strategies, utilizing current credit products to enable judgmental or scored credit portfolio growth.
  24. Designing and implementing processes that improve efficiency for any new credit product.
  25. Implementing, monitoring, and controlling business processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountability.
  26. Ensuring the development, alignment, mapping, and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map.
  27. Researching, enabling, and consulting on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement.
  28. Reviewing existing processes and suggesting innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimize redundancy.
  29. Monitoring customer feedback reports and aligning processes to maximize efficiencies.
  30. Engaging with customers to understand their unique requirements, drive value optimization, and advise on the best options for product integration and wealth management.
  31. Managing the growth of the active customer account base.
  32. Coordinating and facilitating all approved strategic projects from inception to final execution, including post-implementation evaluation.
  33. Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements in area of accountability.
  34. Ensuring the implementation of relevant policies, governance, and practice standards across the business.
  35. Maintaining knowledge of relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and internal compliance procedures and requirements.
  36. Ensuring compliance adoption in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by the organization and reviewing in response to audit findings and changes.
  37. Developing an understanding of risks and risk management approaches.
  38. Implementing and providing input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within the area of specialization and identifying risks.
  39. Educating others and making suggestions for improvements.
  40. Networking and participating in specialist risk forums where required.
  41. Developing, encouraging, and nurturing collaborative relationships across areas of specialization.
