The role of a Credit Risk Management Specialist at Rmb involves analyzing credit data to estimate the degree of risk in extending credit or lending money. This requires consulting with management to assist in corporate planning and achieving year-on-year Total Consumer Revenue Growth as per the Branch Financial Performance Report for your Customer Portfolio.

  1. Achieve cost efficiencies by managing costs/expenses within the approved budget.
  2. Deliver exceptional Credit service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
  3. Assist internal sales partners with credit decisions and application of the credit policy.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners.
  5. Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and provide proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Responsible for maximizing cross-sell opportunities through credit assessment and client portfolio analysis.
  7. Ensure average approval turnaround time against target to ensure retention of clients.
  8. Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
  9. Responsible for the returns of daily stats.
  10. Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies.
Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in the field of credit or similar is required.

Experience

4 to 5 years Credit Risk experience with expertise in credit assessment and analysis is necessary.
