Objective Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on building services and power systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consulting engineering services for the design of MV & LV, power and lighting, single line diagrams, reticulation, generators, UPS, fire detection and evacuation, as well as Data, CCTV, access control, intruder and building management systems.

• Prepare accurate and concise designs, design calculations, budgets, tender specification creation, perform project financial control and diligent construction monitoring and project management (electrical) throughout all stages of a project life cycle.

• Collaborate and work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers on a project, taking an active part in the design process and coordination.

• Complete all types of projects from inception to close out with limited input from management and/or other Senior Engineers.

• Focus on client care and professional team management, including on-time delivery.

• Market the company, including attendance at business-related networking and client functions, ensuring repeat work from clients and developing a client base.

• Set up client/consultant fee/contract agreements, calculate professional fees, and effectively manage professional fees on all projects.

• Manage internal office project finances regarding hourly forecasting, WIP, and invoicing.

• Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behavior consistent with the company's health, safety, environmental, and quality vision, and policies by influencing those around you.

• Contribute to the identification of SHEQ risks and drive processes to achieve Zero Harm.

• Embrace, display, and promote the company values and ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years consulting engineering experience within the Building Services Environment.

• Revit Modelling experience.

• Knowledge of various building contracts applicable to the building services industry, i.e., JBCC, Fidic, NEC, Procsa, etc.

• Knowledge of SANS10142-1&2, SANS10139, and SANS10114 among others.

• Good knowledge of MV and LV reticulation design, standby power systems, including changeovers, synchronizing, and calculating ratings thereof, renewable energy installations.

• Experience with Autodesk BIM (Revit, Navisworks, Glue, Field, etc.) and CAD software.

• Experience with electrical software packages such as Relux, Dialux, CBi, Ecodial, and/or Amtech.

Qualifications:

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering.

• Must be a Candidate Engineer with ECSA Pr Eng/Tech registration.

• SAQCC Registered for Design will be advantageous.
