Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze labor management trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize labor costs and improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory employment terms and regulations.
  • Manage and control wage rules and shift patterns within approved parameters.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with minimum standards of the company.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to comply with standards where not present or refine/improve as needed.
  • Generate reports from various databases to provide insights on labor efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare and review actual against budget per site.
  • Analyze time and attendance, wage records, and payroll data to identify labor inefficiencies and errors.
  • Communicate results of analysis to relevant management and provide recommendations for corrective action and/or improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven 10 years' experience in a payroll role.
  • Training certificates and/or qualifications in Payroll essential.
  • Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
  • Familiarity with payroll software (SAGE 300).
  • Meticulous.
  • Analytical mind and good mathematical skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral).
  • Management and leadership skills.
