Maintenance Manager Job Description

Fempower Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our railway systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage and maintain a high level of diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • Implement financial controls to manage functional budgets and ensure cost-effective maintenance practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and maintain an effective management information system to track maintenance activities and performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Artisan (Millwright) or B Tech Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • 5 years' work experience in a mechanical engineering environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • High level of management skills, including planning, problem-solving, and leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • MS Office literate, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
