Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Unique Personnel Ltd.

About the Role:

  • To manage the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in Bedfordview, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • To lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to achieve employee, financial, customer, profit, and sales targets.
  • To maintain restaurant operational excellence in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • To work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the delivery of outstanding food quality and presentation.
  • To monitor and maintain service quality and venue standards, including housekeeping, ambience, merchandising, and other related areas.
  • To contribute to revenue and profit targets by implementing effective strategies and initiatives.
  • To resolve operational queries, guest enquiries, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • To supervise the delivery of an exceptional guest experience, ensuring that all guests receive a warm welcome, attentive service, and a memorable dining experience.
  • To train and coach team members to improve their skills and knowledge, enhancing their job performance and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
  • To coordinate work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.
  • To build and maintain relationships with guests and team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • To control stock levels, conduct stock counts, and perform related administrative duties, including cash-ups.
  • To comply with business processes and operating procedures, adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • To work collaboratively with other departments, sharing best practices and expertise to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the entertainment food/restaurant business, preferably in a managerial role.
  • At least 3 years' experience in managing restaurants, with a proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, team members, and colleagues.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to work on weekends, public holidays, and irregular hours, as required.
