Marketing Account Director

At Talent Sam, we are seeking a seasoned Multichannel Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has a proven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns and has a passion for building strong relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in an agency-side marketing environment, with a focus on multichannel account management. They will be comfortable setting up or taking over client account teams and ensuring that deliverables stay on track.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding new clients and nurturing those relationships, keeping a close eye on client retention and ensuring that clients receive an exceptional quality of service
- Evaluating campaign performance based on clear KPIs, and reporting confidently on a weekly and monthly basis to client stakeholders
- Partnering with account strategists to identify and recommend account improvements, constantly looking for ways to further boost account performance and ensure strong client engagement
- Flagging any concerns with account performance, troubleshooting alongside the Head of Strategy, and working hard to ensure retention and client satisfaction
- Being the account lead for your designated key clients, operating as the main client point of contact, ensuring all members of the account team are feeding into the monthly report, and liaising with the Head of Strategy about any concerns you have over account performance or any opportunities to provide additional services and support for that client
- Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals on multichannel clients
Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years as an agency-side marketing account manager
- Comfortable setting up or taking over client account teams and ensuring that deliverables stay on track
- Excellent oral communications skills
- Very strong written communication skills and email comms skills
- Strong experience producing reports and explaining them to clients
- Happy to chat on the phone, comfortable calling clients
- Well-organised and efficient, good time management and prioritisation skills
