Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a small buying portfolio under the guidance of the Buying Manager, supporting the department across all administrative functions related to purchasing products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a small portfolio while providing administrative support to the Buyer.
- Collaborate with Buyers to foster relationships with merchants, including local and international brands.
- Identify new and trending businesses and products for your portfolio.
- Maintain and build key accounts with merchants.
- Conduct trend forecasting and analysis.
- Develop, implement, and monitor merchandise strategies.
- Work with planning to establish buying plans and strategies that maximize sales margin and profit.
- Analyze product performance and respond to trading conditions.
- Timely placement and delivery of purchase orders.
- Ensure accurate completion of spreadsheets and gather required product data.
- Perform administrative tasks related to buying and uploading product data onto our system.
