About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Purple Team in Umhlanga, Durban. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing internal marketing functions, guiding and mentoring our growing team, and developing strategic campaigns to build our employer brand across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of internal marketing plans, working closely with our leadership team, creative, and content teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Attend events, conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis.
  • Develop and implement internal marketing strategies and communications plans, ensuring compliance with industry norms, regulations, and standards.
  • Manage idea generation and project implementation, identifying new marketing opportunities and optimizing existing activities.
  • Provide digital marketing insights and strategic direction for digital marketing strategy and campaign implementation, including social media marketing, search engine marketing, paid campaigns, SEO, email campaigns, mobile campaigns, etc.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, digital marketing, communication, and sales.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Code 08 driver's license.
