About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Ekurhuleni, South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers at various levels. You will also possess a strong understanding of the rail industry and be able to promote and sell technical products.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Liaising with customers on pricing issues and providing technical advice.
  2. Developing and managing a client contact matrix and visit schedule.
  3. Working closely with the internal sales department to ensure service levels are continually improved.
  4. Sending price notifications to relevant customer representatives.

You will be required to have a good understanding of the rail industry, as well as excellent communication skills in English. A technical qualification in Civil Engineering is preferable, but not essential. Experience in sales or marketing is highly desirable.
