About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various mechanical, electrical, and civil activities on our project site. They will have the opportunity to develop their skills under the guidance of our experienced team members. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a completed NQF 6 qualification, such as a National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

The site-based intern will be responsible for:
  • Complying with our workplace policies and procedures.
  • Applying training and mentorship received on the project site on various Mechanical, electrical and Civil activities.
  • Reporting on site activities.
  • Performing site quality inspections.
  • Assisting in enforcing HSE compliance related to Construction regulations.
  • Managing project data management to share with Owners Engineers.
  • Drafting project presentations and reports.
  • Compiling minutes of meetings.
  • Reviewing and confirming as-build information.
  • Providing general administration support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
  • A completed minimum NQF 6 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • South African citizenship with a valid SA ID.
