About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to take on a consulting role, working with clients to design and implement HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in HVAC design and commissioning.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing HVAC systems in accordance with local and international standards
  • Conducting air-conditioning heat load and ventilation calculations
  • Providing technical expertise in SANS regulations
  • Using HVAC Design software packages to create detailed designs
  • Working with various modeling software and being conversant in BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience in Wet Services and Fire Engineering is advantageous

The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc/BEng./BTech.) and 2-5 years of experience in the field. They will also be proficient in HVAC design and commissioning systems, with excellent communication skills.
