Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce detailed engineering drawings using Solid Works and Auto Cad 2D software.
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise closely with manufacturing teams to explain drawings and make adjustments as necessary.
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to ensure conformance to design concepts.
- Report on job progress and drawing completion, ensuring timely completion of allocated projects.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Certificate in Draughting (Mechanical).
- Proficiency in Solid Works, Auto Cad 2D, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Afrikaans and English.
- Strong planning, organizing, and coordinating abilities.
- Ability to think on your feet and multitask.
- Deadline-oriented and willing to work under pressure.
- Punctual and willing to work overtime.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience.
