At Watershed Consulting, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Sales Director to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership role in sales strategy and development.

About the Role:

  • This position involves developing and implementing sales plans at a regional level, identifying areas of improvement, and setting targets to achieve business objectives.
  • You will be responsible for recruiting and maintaining sales teams, communicating sales strategies, and evaluating progress against set goals.
  • Effective expense budgeting and monitoring, as well as managing deviations from budget, is also a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Plan Implementation: Develop and implement sales plans to attain set goals/targets, communicate these plans to sales teams, and identify individual roles and responsibilities.
  • Expense Budget Management: Monitor expenses against budget, track deviations, investigate reasons, and recommend corrective action.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Understand the impact of stakeholder policies on regional business, deploy correct interactions and processes, and develop sustainable relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Matric qualification or equivalent.
  • Relevant Qualification recognized by the FSCA (Financial Services Conduct Authority).
  • Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives, Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals, or 30-60 credits on NQF level 2 or 60-120 credits on NQF level 5.
